First, I want to state that Lola’s room is not finished, these are just some progress shots. And I didn’t take these photos at the best time of day so they aren’t good quality but seeing how they are just “during” photos I didn’t bother to reshoot them. We still need to add wallpaper and a rug and then a few other projects. I’m holding off on the wallpaper until I decide if I want to do some kind of wood paneling treatment on the lower half and just wallpaper the upper half. I did get her bunkbed put together though and her room is now functional and she is LOVING having a bunkbed. She’s been wanting one for the last several years and was so excited! This one was surprisingly easy to put together. It did take a little bit of time but Lola and I did it together with a little bit of help from Lillie. It probably would go more quickly with two adults though. All in all I was really impressed with how easy it was to do.

For the bedding we went with Beddy’s in the Love at First White (this is a softer white than the Chic White we have in Lillie’s room). We seriously can’t rave enough about Beddy’s. We first got them for a client’s space several years ago and my girl’s thought they were the coolest things ever so we got them for their rooms as well and we’ve been using and recommending them ever since! They are the best inventions ever for kids! It makes it so easy for them to make their beds in the morning and they love how snuggly they are to sleep in! To say we are huge fans would be an understatement! And I can’t imagine trying to make a bunkbed without them! If you use the code DEARLILLIE20 you can get 20% off your order!

Although they aren’t necessarily the “prettiest” option we LOVE how functional these cubbies  and striped storage bins are. This is the fourth straight house we have used a cubby system in Lola’s room and it works so well for her (in two of them we’ve have them in her closet and two out in her room). She keeps clothes in some of them and toys in others. It’s a great way to help keep things organized.

These baskets are also awesome! They come in set of two and the girls each have one that we use as their laundry basket for all of their clean clothes and it’s also a great size for storage books and other items in their rooms.

We had this fun globe in our guest room at our rental but it works well in Lola’s new room. And she chose the adorable little hedgehog artwork.

Well, that’s it for today! I hope you all have an amazing week! I’ll be back with more photos and a new post later this week.
