Good morning and Happy Saturday! Ruby says welcome into our new entryway! I finally took a whole bunch of photos yesterday and am planning on sharing them over the next week or so as I go through and edit them all. Today I will start with the entryway. I am still on the hunt for the right rug for the space. I’ve got this jute one here for now but eventually would like to find something different. I will also probably move the lamp into our master bedroom eventually and go with a different lamp out here but for now I like the proportions of this one (I just don’t like how closely it matches the color of the chest). I also am planning on swapping out the existing sconce and ceiling fixture but you can’t see either of those in these photos. Other than that though this space is pretty close to being done!

I have been eyeing this dresser for a couple of years now. I have used it on multiple mood boards for clients and considered buying to for myself several times but never had quite the right spot for it, so I was thrilled when I realized it would work perfectly in this entryway! I love every little detail of it.

Here you can see some close-ups of the details on the dresser. It’s so pretty!

I missed having our gallery wall of family photos while we were in our rental and was so excited to be able to hang them up again and see them every day. I put some of them here in our entryway and some of the others in a hallway off the mail living space. I wanted so badly to have these ten here because they are some of my favorite photos of my girls so I forced them into two rows of five. I think though, I may at some point redo it and just use two rows of four and put two of them somewhere else because I do think they are a little bit squished. Even though I generally do like my gallery walls hung pretty tightly together, I think these are a little too tight and need a bit more room to “breathe”.  I’ve got so many other projects on my list right now though, so it may be a while before I get around to doing that.

Here’s the view from my office into the entryway. Now that I’ve got the main living spaces pretty well on their way and have taken photos, my next project downstairs in my office. I’ve got a new light fixture up and am narrowing down my wall color choice and hoping to pull the trigger on one this week and get to work painting!

And here’s a little sneak peek of our kitchen/dining area. I haven’t fully photographed the kitchen yet because the backsplash isn’t done (and the island is going to be painted as well) but I did get the dining area and a few angles of the kitchen photographed yesterday and as soon as I have a chance I will go through all of those and do a blog post.

And here’s a little peek of Lola’s room. Her room still has quite a ways to go before it’s done but I did take some photos of it yesterday to at least share the progress we’ve made so far and I am hoping to have that post ready to go Monday or Tuesday.

We LOVE our Beddy’s bedding. It is the best invention ever for kids and it makes such a huge difference for bunk beds! I’ll share more picture of it this coming week but in the meantime you can use the code DEARLILLIE20 for 20% off your order with them!
