Last week we closed on our new home! It has been a whirlwind couple of months here so we are so excited that finally this week we really feel like we can start settling in. Our new home’s interior is pretty similar to our last home so it may seem a little crazy that we moved as we start sharing pictures of our new home, but the yard and driveway situation is so much more ideal for our family and the amount of time that we spend outdoors.
Well, except for a progressive dinner we are doing next week, I think this is our last room to share of our old house! (Although if I get to it, I may do a round up of all the before and afters from the last three and a half years in a few weeks).
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We shared on instagram last night that we closed on a new home earlier this week so later this week we will have a post up with more details on our move and hopefully at least a few photos! For now though I have a couple last posts to share of our last home.
We kept our Christmas decor in the back hallway pretty simple, because after all, it is a back hallway. 😉 But I didn’t want to overlook it, because I think it is a hidden gem. It’s one of my favorite features of the house. (I have many.) I can’t wait until the girls are slightly older and I can leave the door open all the time and rest assured that they won’t end up using the loop as a racetrack.
Welcome to our stop on the 2016 Holiday Housewalk! You can start the tour over at our lovely host, Jennifer Rizzo’s:
And if you are coming over from Stop 10, Welcome! Bre has one of my favorite homes and her decorating always stops me in my tracks, especially at Christmas!
I have been so excited to decorate for Christmas, since this is our first time doing so here at Bluestone Hill. Last year, we moved the week before Christmas and all we did for decorating was set up a tiny fake tree that the girls covered in blindingly bright ornaments and our pretty, big farm stand tree which fell over not once, but twice, smashing at least half of my ornaments.
