I hope you all are having a lovely week so far. Here are the last of our peonies. I sure wish they lasted longer – they are my favorite. We’ve got several different shades of pink and white that bloom in our yard now ranging from a soft creamy color to dark pink, and I’m hoping to add some peach and coral colored ones next year.

I don’t have any house pictures to post, although we are adding wallpaper to the laundry room and a closet today so hopefully I’ll have some fun new photos in the next week or so, but I did want to share have some pictures of Lola reading outside in our new tent we found at HomeGoods.

My computer has been acting up a little bit so I couldn’t finish up the post I was working on so I thought instead I just have some peony pictures for today.

This gray tufted bench from HomeGoods is still one of my favorite finds for this room.

Farmhouse Table – I made it using this plan from Ana White’s site.

The first time I went to Jon’s parent’s home his mother made a strawberry pie. I am not really a pie person, but this pie was absolutely delicious and has been a summer favorite of mine ever since. She shared the recipe with me and we have enjoyed making it every year during strawberry season.
