Today I am going to share some mood boards for our guest room with twin beds. One of the spaces I was quite sad about leaving in our last house was the guest room (and a guest bathroom attached to it). After having had the two houses prior to that (Our first North Carolina House and last Virginia house) not have a guest room at all it was so nice having a proper space for our family to stay in when they were visiting!

Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a wonderful week. When I shared our entryway makeover last week I mentioned I had decorated it for fall and am sharing that here today. I kept things really simple but just adding some realistic faux fall branches and a pumpkin.

Good morning and Happy Sunday! Today I joining a bunch of my blogging friends for the Seasons of Home Fall Home Tour. Our Fall Home Tour is just going to feature our downstairs space as most of the upstairs still has a long way to go in this house.

Good morning! Although our living room isn’t finished (and I have lots of plans for the kitchen down the road) I have finally finished painting the walls white in our main living space which includes our living room, breakfast area and kitchen. I also painted the built-in bookshelves beside the fireplace and the fireplace surround and finally got some woven shades hung up in all the windows in here which really helps warm up the space!

Good evening! I hope you all are having a lovely week. I have been plugging away working on our house these past two months and today I wanted to share with you our almost finished entryway with black doors and board and batten. It’s not quite finished yet as I plan to add wallpaper to the wall above the board and batten but other than that it’s pretty much finished.

Today I  am joining a bunch of my blogging friends as part of the Seasons of Home Holiday Series, and I    am sharing a simple fall tablescape with goldenrod. Table settings have always been one of my favorite things to do. This time around because I am in the middle of a bunch of other projects I  went really simple.
