Good morning! Today I wanted to share our entryway with board and batten and wallpaper. I know I haven’t posted on here in what feels like forever. Life has been particularly hectic lately and although I have been plugging away on several projects I haven’t had time to get things finished up and photographed until this past week. So today I am excited to share the finishing touches we added to our entryway and then this coming week I  will share Lola’s bathroom makeover (it is finished and photographed – I just need to write the blog post!) and then I have to finish up the floor in our primary bathroom next week and as soon as that is done I will get that photographed and can’t wait to share that makeover!

Here is a picture of the entryway before we moved in. I was a little disappointed when I  saw that there wasn’t enough wall space to have a big entryway console/chest with a large piece of artwork or mirror over it but I knew it would be fun to be able to make a statement with the doors by painting them and then adding some fun wallpaper.

A couple of months after we moved in I tediously painted the doors and also added the board and batten to at least help make the space feel more like us. You can see that post here (and then it decorated for fall here and Christmas here). I  was torn on what wallpaper I  wanted to use and had so many other projects to work on that I    just decided to move onto another project and figured I would circle back to the entryway after the holidays. Then I discovered the website Love Vs. Design and fell in love with this Lush Gardenia Wallpaper! The pattern was absolutely beautiful and even better was the fact that you could customize the colors! I chose “Charcoal” for my background color and “Shore” for the flowers. We partnered with them for this entryway and also for Lola’s bathroom and I am so pleased with how both spaces turned out. It was so nice being able to play around with the many different colorway options! The possibilities are endless. I love this paper so much that I actually ordered this same pattern in a different colorway for the water closet in our primary bathroom (which I will be sharing soon)!

Here it is now – Our Entryway with Board and Batten and Wallpaper:
