Lola’s room was the easiest to add some autumn touches too. The color scheme of her room makes it simple to add pretty much any seasonal elements to it without worrying about things clashing. For her room I used the wheat wreath by Meagan, some white pumpkins, fresh hydrangeas, some feathers, a tall bundle of branches and our give thanks pillow.

A few weeks ago I took some photos of Lillie and Lola. I don’t think I’ve taken any setup type photos of them together since last fall and they’ve grown so much since then. Lillie is wearing our Briar hat, made by my sister, Dana. We are hoping to have them available again later this fall.

I regularly show you photos of our back porch but almost never show you the front of our house because, well, there’s not much to show. However, I am really excited about this wreath that Meagan of Custom Wreaths by Meagan sent me earlier this week! It was packaged wonderfully so it arrived in perfect condition and I was thrilled with the size of it!

Yesterday I finished making a bench to go with our farmhouse table. I am hoping to get it photographed later this week. I took photos as I went so I can do a tutorial, although it might be another week or so before I get to that. Today I thought I would show you the autumn changes we have made in our family room so far.

Yesterday Jon and I celebrated our wedding anniversary! Thanks to Coach and “Mrs. Coach” Shaver (as Lillie calls her) we got to go out for a nice relaxing date. Even six years after getting married I still LOVE anything wedding related. I love wedding magazines, wedding photos, wedding blogs and loading up my wedding board on Pinterest.
