Good morning! For the past twelve years we’ve participated in a Holiday Housewalk along with a bunch of other bloggers. This year was the final year for it, and I wasn’t able to participate because of the timing but I do want to continue having a full Christmas tour every year in one place on the blog so here is my Holiday Housewalk 2023 (just a bit later than usual).
Good morning. Although we’ve had most of our Christmas decorating done for a while now I did just recently add some more faux and fresh garland to finish some of the spaces off. I added a dried orange slice garland to the shelf in our kitchen, and then I found some garland (I doubled it up to look thicker) I hadn’t used yet this year (but have had for years, similar can be found here) in one of my Christmas bins and hung that on the small bit of railing we have on the stairs and added in some battery operated lights and tied on a velvet bow.
Good morning! Every year since they were tiny, the girls and I have made gingerbread houses. A few years ago we used the A-Frame Gingerbread house from Trader Joe’s and discovered they were so much easier to work with than any of the other ones we’d used in the past so that’s all we’ve used these past few years and its so much fun!
Good evening! Because we just moved into this house in September, we only have two bedrooms that we’ve made enough progress on to share here on the blog. We shared our guest room few weeks ago and tonight are sharing Lillie’s Aqua and Mint Room Decorated for Christmas.
Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Last month I shared about the gingerbread houses that I added to the shelf above our sink for the holidays and then recently I decided to make a dried orange slice garland and add it to the shelf to give it a bit of a nostalgic touch similar to the candles we’ve added to our windows.
Good morning! I hope you all are enjoying your December so far. Today I wanted to share some photos of a Green and White Christmas Table Setting I did in our breakfast nook. I used all items that we’ve had for years and years. To start with I snaked a preserved boxwood garland along with center of the table and then placed a vase in the middle of the table and added some fresh flowers and greenery from Trader Joe’s to it.
