Pretty much right when we moved in we took down the dated ceiling fan that was here and for several months we didn’t have anything up here at all while I looked for a flush mount. I have had my eye on this gorgeous gold one from Shades of Light for quite some time but wasn’t sure how it would flow with the rest of the room.
Today we are excited to share with you our upstairs bathroom makeover which we generally refer to as “the girls’ bathroom”. Along with five other bloggers, we partnered up with Wayfair for this transformation and it was so much fun! Wayfair has super fast shipping on the majority of their items and from the time we started planning this makeover to the time we photographed it was only about 60 days.
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend! We don’t have a ton new to share tonight (although we are working on some upcoming posts including a week from today when we will share the girls’ finished bathroom makeover!) but did want to share a few updates we have added to our dining room.
The weather here has been absolutely beautiful lately! Perfect for eating meals on the porch and snuggling out here with a book. I’ve even been bringing my computer out here and working this week. This was the space that we first fell in love with when we saw the house.
The girls are finally sleeping in the room together! And the room is one of our most finished looking spaces now that we have this rug from Plush Rugs! I love how it pulls the room together and gives it a finished look.
With the exception of hanging some of her Sound of Music posters and other pictures over on the wall above her keyboard (shown at the end of the post) I think we are pretty much done for now with Lillie’s room! We had initially talked about doing pink and aqua in here but somehow pretty much everything she found ended up being pink or gold.
