About a month ago we shared some images of our updated family room and mentioned that we had made a large tufted ottoman to go in front of the sofa so that we could put our feet up more comfortably every night. Our original plan was to purchase one but I wanted it to be close to five feet long and about two feet deep which ended up being a much harder to find size than I anticipated.

When we moved our Arhaus sofa into our family room that left a spot in our den/study that we needed to fill. We wanted something comfortable that also had a bit of a sophisticated feel to it. I’d been eyeing this sofa at Savvy for quite a while now and after inquiring about it discovered it belonged to Barbara Hartmann Interiors.
In the guest room where we keep our desk I finally got around to cleaning out and painting the closet. The girls helped me paint and then build some really basic shelves for one of the sides so I could stack some of my baskets filled with cards, ribbons and crafting supplies.
A while ago we shared some photos of our den with our new sofa that Arhaus sent us and mentioned at the end of it that we were moving it into our family room. Jon fell in love with it and for the first time in all of the years we have been together he suggested moving a piece of furniture – haha!
I know it will probably seem strange (and probably a little crazy) to a lot of people to bother wallpapering the inside of a closet, but I have to say I love having the little surprise element of opening a closet and seeing a fun and unexpected print inside, especially in a guest room.
One of my favorite L. M. Montgomery quotes is this one, so we figured it would make the perfect print for summer! We are offering it in our shop in both a navy blue print as well as a chalkboard print version (scroll down for those photos).
