When we moved in we thought the master bathroom was going to be one of the very first things we tackled. Ironically three years later and it is the LAST project we are officially doing her in this house – ha! We just kept putting it off as we were unsure what direction we wanted to go in (we had at one point considered knocking a wall down and enlarging the space so we could add a freestanding tub, but that would have taken away from one of the bedrooms) while we remained indecisive on this space we continued to work on making over pretty much every other square inch of this house.

I hope you all are having a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! We just wanted to pop in with some very simple yet festive touches we added to our porch. We found this pretty blue pitcher at HomeGoods so we decided to fill it with some hydrangeas from our yard and then added a few other blue and red touches like the table linens and the flag that we painted on some wood several years ago.
We got this gold ringed chest for our master bedroom a couple of years ago from Soft Surroundings and it’s been one of my absolute favorite pieces. I’ve played around with quite a few different options of pictures/mirrors to try above it but hadn’t found the perfect finishing touch until I ran across this mirror!
After three years we finally have hydrangeas in our yard to cut! Our Endless Summer ones are doing great and continue to bloom so I’ve been able to start cutting them which I LOVE! And our Bombshell ones are blooming like crazy so I’ve been able to cut lots of those finally now too!
We have had the floor bare in the kitchen for quite a while now but I kept thinking it would be nice to try and add something in here to add a little warmth to the space. We found this rug at Rugs Studio and even though it had a plum accent color in it instead of the navy I was hoping for I decided to give it a try because I loved the vintage style pattern of it.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We’ve got a busy week ahead with lots of guest coming so I thought today I would share a couple more things we have switched around in our guest room. I am still working on some finishing touches for the bedding and the desk wall and will share the full room once I do those but for today wanted to share the nightstands that we added to room.
