Well, although I don’t think any room is every really “done” in our house I did add some finishing touches to our living room recently that help make it feel “finished for now”. Haha! Mary-Catherine from Copper Corners contacted us about creating a custom piece for our space. I sent her photos of our room and the dimensions about the sofa and she created this gorgeous painting for us! I love the wood frame that she added around it to really finish it off. And you can purchase a print of this beautiful artwork with a variety of frame choices over in our collection at Painted Fox! You really should check out all of Mary-Catherine’s beautiful work.  When we first started working with her about this design we hadn’t gotten Ruby yet, but now that we have Ruby I am dying to have her do a painting of her! She creates the most fun animals paintings! You can also find her Etsy shop here.

We also added this round mirror above the mantel and I just ordered some sconces to replace the existing ones (those will hopefully be arriving soon!) I can’t wait for them to arrive. Although by the time I share this room again it will be with a Christmas tree in it! Goodness, this year has flown by!

Here’s another shot of the artwork. I love the texture on it!
