I have been trying to take pictures over the last few weeks of everyone in the family with Lorelei. We have photos everywhere of our whole family with Lillie but obviously not many of Lola yet. I really want to update all of the family photos we have going up our staircase when we return home in a few weeks. Well, we got all set up to take some photos of Dana and Lola a couple of weeks ago but Lola decided to start screaming so instead I just ended up taking them of Dana and Lillie.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

  1. I am French (sorry for my English) and yesterday I found your blog. Congratulations! Your house, your family, your daughters, everything is wonderful! I look forward to your shop reopened.

  2. I adore your blog. Lillie and Lola are truly precious! Would you mind sharing what camera you use? All of your pictures are so sharp and the quality is terrific. Thank you in advance!

  3. I love the way you capture how absolutely precious and heavenly a little girl can be, with tousled hair, and a little kissy mouth… grubby and earthy… and at the same time like a fairy or butterfly. As a mom i've had those moments with my kids where i'd think they're so beautiful and funny and innocent that i could just die looking at them. You're able to capture that with your camera… For me, it's almost like a relief that someone can express that magic in a photo for others to see, I wonder if that makes sense!?

  4. Your photos are always so amazing! Do you edit in photoshop? I need to learn how to work with lighting. Lillie, as always, is a doll!

  5. Thanks everyone!

Susan, I have a Nikon D3000. It is an entry level but I LOVE it and highly recommend it.

Ava, yes I do edit in photoshop. Some photos I do a ton of editing to and some don't need as much. The natural lighting in these was great so they didn't need much editing although I did run some actions on them.

Cindy – Your words are so beautiful! I know exactly what you mean and that is such a huge compliment from you. You are such an amazing artist.
