Here are some photos of Jamie and Josh’s great room. I think they did a fabulous job, and this is now my favorite room in their home! I think the wall color is perfect for the room. It is Sparrow by Benjamin Moore.  The chairs are from Ballard Design. We made the silhouette pillows ourselves, and we will have a tutorial for those soon (and we also will be selling them in September). The lamp is from Target (I think). Both the coffee table and side table are from White Home Collection in Wilton, NH. The chandelier is from Ballard Designs. We should be having a tutorial for the burlap vase either tomorrow or Wednesday. The silhouette coasters are from Target. I want some! Unfortunately, I haven’t ever seen them at my Target.

And here are a couple of quick candid shots of Lola when she was out on the porch the other night.

I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!

  1. Oh those blue eyes. And what an absolutely gorgeous, sun filled living room. So many nice details to soak in. I hope you are well Jennifer.

  2. Very Nice! I'll be using a few ideas. Your Little Lola is a Pretty Little Sweet pea. Hope her heath is doing better.

  3. Her eyes!!! She is such a beauty! Gotta tell you, this makes me want to speed up planning for child no. 2 πŸ˜€

Be-a-u-tiful room! The chandy is out of this world! Question for you – was the double stacked topiary sitting on the console table a DIY? I love it, and think I'm going to try to DIY it after seeing it in this space.

  4. Lola is beautiful! I hope she is doing well. The Great Room is lovely. I love the Silhouettes! Coasters from Target, who would have thought?! Thank you fro sharing such an inspiring room!

  5. Firstly, Lola is gorgeous! Secondly, that great room is fabulous! It is just the bright, cozy feel that I seek for my own great room (which is in the works right now). Thank you for the inspiration!

  6. What an amazing pic of little Lolabird! So cute! Your sisters family room is very pretty! Dark wall color works well with all the windows and natural light, doesn't it!

  7. Lola melted my heart to an instant awwwwwwwww, she is just beautiful! The room is fantastic, every inch of it! Can't wait to see the tutorials! t.xooxoxo

  8. the room is stunning, those windows in that room are beautiful! you guys did a great job, not that that surprises me or anything!

and your lola, wow! she is precious!

  9. Gorgeous! Could you please (pretty please with sugar on top) tell me the source of the window arch frame? I HAVE to find it! Thanks, Laurie

  10. Ha..ha..I was just going to ask the same question as Laurie, the frame, gotta have it! I love their great room, funny, I've been eyeing the same chandelier too…and I have to agree, Lola has the most beautiful eyes…she's a cutie.

  11. Lovely! Their home (as well as yours!) looks straight out of a catalog πŸ™‚

Oh, and FYI, those coasters are from John Derian's line at Target that was at the store earlier this year…I have two sets of them πŸ™‚ I think they were $9 for a set of 4.

  12. Shelley – The topiary was DIY. It was pretty easy. I just used two styrofoam balls, sheet moss, and a branch. Oh, and I used a floral foam square in the bottom!

Laurie and Kristel – I got the frame from White Home Collection, an antique store in Wilton, NH. I have no idea where it came from, but if I remember, I will bring it the next time I go and see if anyone remembers! We got some questions about it the last time it was pictured too, and I know Jenni really wants one as well.

    Thanks for the compliments!
    Jamie (Jenni's sister)

  13. Now your room was looking so gorgeous and so lovely and I was just drooling, until…you showed that precious little one with those gorgeous blue eyes! πŸ™‚
    Be a sweetie,

Stopping by from Shabby Nest today- would love for you to come share this at Feathered Nest Friday sometime! πŸ™‚

  22. What a lovely finished room! It all came together beautifully. The wall color looks very similar to the color I painted my kitchen and dining room, called Superior Bronze by SW. I loved the color from the first brush stroke. The neutral furniture and drapes look wonderful against the dark walls. Also, your girls are just precious. πŸ™‚

  24. The room is gorgeous, as is Lola! May I ask where the wicker plant baskets are from (on the round table)? I know it may seem a silly question, but I've been looking for something like these for months! Thanks.

  25. Your room is just beautiful along with baby LIllie. I love the sofas. Can you tell me where they are from.

  26. Thanks, this is my sister Jamie's room. The sofas are from a store up here in NH. I will have to check with my sister on the name of it. I can't remember of the top of my head.

  27. Just found you through A to Z. Luv your home! so serene. I love the drapery panels in your great room…did you post somewhere in your blog where those are from? The fabric looks beautiful.
    thanks
    Lynn
