Fall Teacup Cupcakes
Good evening! Last holiday season I shared some fun and simple cupcakes I made with these silicone teacup cupcake liners that were so much fun to use and so cute! I had planned on doing some fun valentine’s cupcakes with them but never got around to it. I had some fun making these fall teacup cupcakes though! The two main things you’ll need for these are the teacup liners themselves and then a piping bag and some tips – for three of the cupcakes shown I used this 1M piping tip and for the other one I used this 4B one. And then you can add whatever fun little things you have on hand to dress them up from sprinkles, caramels, cinnamon sticks, etc.
For this first one I’d recommend making a cinnamon cupcake (here’s a good recipe if you want to use a mix which I typically like to do – I like my frosting made from scratch but for some reason have always preferred the cake or cupcakes itself to be from a mix – haha!) and then for the frosting I like this cream cheese frosting which I got from my mom and then you can sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on it and add some embellishments like star anise and a cinnamon stick.
For this next one I actually just used a basic yellow base but may try this cupcake recipe next time. And this buttercream frosting is always my go too. I didn’t add any caramel to the frosting itself because I wanted to heavily drizzle on the salted caramel sauce. You can make this delicious homemade salted caramel sauce or go with this already made one. Then I embellished it with some sprinkles, caramel squares and these little salted caramel cookies.
This one is a pumpkin one. For this cupcakes I recommend this cupcake recipe and frosting that we shared several years ago. I added just a tiny hint of cinnamon to the frosting to give it a bit of color and then embellished it with some sprinkles and some pumpkin gingersnap cookies (which I LOVE!) I got mine from the Fresh Market but think you can probably find something similar a lot of different places.
Another fun fall cupcake is a mocha one. This is a yummy mocha frosting you can try.
Here are a few pictures of these fall cupcakes in our kitchen.
Well, that’s it for today and our fall teacup cupcakes! Hope you all have a lovely rest of your weekend!
