Serena and Lily Rug

Hello! I hope you all  are having a great week. In the last couple of weeks our house has really started feeling like it’s coming together. We’ve added rugs, tables and some lamps and finished up the powder room, guest bedroom and bathroom and finally added the light fixture to our master bedroom. Although there are still plenty of projects to work on it is nice feeling like all the main living spaces are coming together and functional now for our family and guests. In fact, my parents came to visit and got to use the newly finished guest bedroom and bathroom.

One of the spaces I am most excited about finally feeling pulled fully pulled together is the breakfast nook in our kitchen. When my girls were younger I typically avoided putting rugs under our kitchen table because I didn’t think it would be practical. In this house we have pine floors which are VERY soft and therefore get scratched up quite easily so having a rug under the table is really nice so that everything time someone pushes their chair back from the table I don’t have to inwardly cringe – haha! And my girls are now 10 and 12 so having a rug under the table isn’t nearly as worrisome as when they were babies and toddlers!

I have been eyeing this Mirabelle Rug from our partner, Serena and Lily for years. I actually have used in it a client’s space before in the navy color and adored it. I finally decided to go for it for myself and cannot begin to describe how much I love it! In fact, I now kind of wish I had gotten it in the larger size to use in our living room – it is so plush and so pretty! It is hard to capture just how pretty it is in pictures.

I love how it really adds the finishing touch to the space and makes it feel cozier!

The wait times on so many items right now are really long but Serena and Lily offers lots of products that ship in 4 weeks or less! This rug (mine was the 6 by 9 size) shipped quickly and so do these Tucker counter stools.  They actually arrive in about 1-2 weeks! Which right now is exceptionally quick! When you are on their website you can now use their new filter by availability feature which is so helpful. And I love the timeless feel they add to our kitchen.

We love this Rosecliff Chandelier. So much so that we’ve ordered it twice – one for our last house and one for this house!

The St. Germain Stone Coffee Table is another items that arrives in about 4 weeks and makes such a statement!

And this Dauphine Floor Lamp just arrived and I love how it looks next to our tufted sofa which we just got back from a local reupholstery company that recovered it in this beautiful pet friendly fabric.
