Good morning! I have taken lots and lots of photos the past couple of days so will have quite a few rooms to start sharing this coming week. While I work on going through all of those though I thought I would share the gold, white, and black light fixtures we have ordered so far. Although I’ve mostly been focused on getting settled in our home and getting the girls settled and therefore haven’t done any big projects yet, I have done some painting and have been swapping lots of the light fixtures. Swapping light fixtures is one of the first things I like to do to help make a space feel more like ours. And now I am itching to start some real projects this coming week!
One / Two / Three / Four / Five / Six / Seven / Eight / Nine
So here are the lights we have added so far. The first one is in my home office. The second one is going upstairs but for now I’ve got it in our living room while I decide what I want to put there. The old fan that was there was driving me crazy so using this one here for now but will move it upstairs once I decide on what I want for the living room. The third one is over our table in our kitchen. The fourth one is in our entryway. The fifth one is over our island. I found two of them at an outlet nearby but one was in the cream color shown and one was in a light blue color so I spray-painted them both black so they look more similarly to the sixth one which is why I included that image. The seventh one is in our back hallway. The eighth one is currently in our dining room but I ordered it for our upstairs loft area. However, like the second one, I am using it downstairs for now while I decide what I ultimately want to go with in our dining room. Seeing how we spend most of our time on the main floor I like having all the main floor lights swapped out for ones my style even though two of them aren’t in their “final” spots.
Well, that’s it for this morning. If you missed it, yesterday we shared our outdoor pool area, and I am hoping to be able to finish up a post on my office for either tomorrow or Monday. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Warmly, Jenni
