Good morning! I can’t believe how quickly we are closing in on Christmas! I’ve still got several Christmas posts left to post so I’d better get moving – ha! First up, I want to share the Christmas touches we added to Lillie’s room. We used most of the same things we used in her rooms in the past and a few of the aqua and teal things we had used in our bonus room at the last house. Here is the view from her doorway:
We used this tree and then pretty much added all ornaments we’ve used the last several years in her room or the playroom. We just added two or three strands of this super inexpensive beaded garland (I think it was $2 or $3 a strand) to finish it off. I think that was the only new thing. Pretty much everything else is an assortment of things we’ve used over the years for her, so it always makes me pretty nostalgic as we decorate her room and pull the different ornaments and decor out of the boxes.
We got the little mitten garland years ago – I think it was from Target. And the little house and trees were all HomeGoods finds. The cute little deer were from World Market and we first used them in the room she and Lola shared a couple of houses ago.
The little pink yarn trees were ones she helped me make years ago in her very first room in our townhouse! I think we made them the year Lola was born. And I made the yarn wreath quite a few years ago. The little bottle brush trees were ones she picked out when she was really young and I love pulling them out each year.
The VW bus and the vintage looking truck decor were HomeGoods finds years ago. We first used them in Lola’s room a couple of houses ago and then in our playroom and now they work nicely in Lillie’s room.
Here’s a little reminder of what her room looked like when we moved in:
This side of her room is still a work in progress:
Even though they are getting older, they love their Cuddle and Kind stuffed animal/dolls. They each got one a couple of years ago and then each got a second one this fall. I love Cuddle and Kind’s mission so much.
My mom made this sweet little stocking for Lillie’s first Christmas. Lola has one too.
I got this nutcracker paper last year and loved it so much that I ordered it again this year! I love how whimsical it is!
I love this swan paper so much too!
Well, that’s it for today! I hope you have an amazing weekend!
