Here are a bunch of pictures of the birthday girl shortly before her birthday party on Saturday. We didn’t open her gifts or have cake until after dinner so it was dark then and I don’t have any good pictures from that. These are all from earlier in the day while we were setting up and the lighting was better (except for the last one of her eating her cupcake). Anyway, here they are:
I made Lola a birthday crown similar to Lillie’s on her birthday, although I attached Lola’s to an elastic headband so that it would stay on her head seeing how her hair is still too fine to hold in bobby pins.

Lillie had a sleepover the night before and fell asleep before we even had the party – haha!

I was planning on introducing our Family for the Month for May in this post but I am writing this at 3AM and I don’t want to get any of my information incorrect so I will share it either tomorrow or at the start of next week. Also we have two new products we will be introducing next week that I am so excited about! I can’t wait to share them once I get the photos edited!
Have a fabulous Friday!
All these photos were edited using actions from Annie at Paint the Moon. My new favorite is Pure Sugar Black and White from the Fresh Wonderland 2 Set.

  1. Beautiful Pictures! You have a gift ! You truly know how to capture a moment and make one feel like they are there. You can feel the love your family has for one another. Lola is gorgeous! Her sweet smile, makes me smile! And the picture of Lillie, precious.
    Happy Weekend! Enjoy!!
Looking forward to the new products.

  2. Weird! The photo that says "me and my precious baby girl" you look exactly like my friend Sara from Sadie Olive! I thought, "what is Sara doing at the party!" Too funny! Hope all is well! Love seeing all your posts as always! Melaine

  3. Jennifer,

You have the most beautiful family. Every single one is just beautiful.

These are the BEST pictures – so awesome you are documenting your children's lives like this…….I hardly ever took pictures of my children and will regret it forever. I just didn't have the talent, desire, time, money or patience to do it. Back then pics cost so much!

Anyway, yay – well done, and what an angel she is with her organza dress and sweet crown, befitting the Princess she is!!!

  4. Such beautiful photos and a beautiful family you have. Lola is a little angel…and a princess….both! She is just precious and her crown is darling. A very happy 1st birthday!

  5. Lola's so cute in her little crown – I'd love one of those πŸ™‚ Fab photos – you have one good looking family! Also, thank you for sharing how you edited the photos – I wondered what you were using – they're so warm!
