Thank you so much for stopping by! I am so very excited to be a part of

Welcome to our home! I love decorating for Christmas. It has always been my favorite time of year, but now that we have two little girls it is extra special. We were on an extra tight budget this year so I made as many decorations as I could and used lots of items we already owned and elements from nature.
Here is our living room and dining room:

I am planning on setting up a hot chocolate area here but haven’t had a chance yet so for now I am just using leftover things from Lillie’s birthday party.

We just added a bunch more of our ruffled burlap stockings and quilted burlap stockings in our shop!

Lillie quickly discovered these pears were not real.
And here are some shots of our Living Room and Dining Room at night.

And here is a project we did in the kitchen. (I haven’t shot the rest of the kitchen yet but hopefully will have time next week).
And here is our family room:

And here are a few shots of Lola’s nursery (I actually took quite a few more but haven’t had time to crop and edit them all. I will try to share them later this week).

And same with Lillie’s room. Once I get the rest of her photos cropped and edited I will show you those.

I haven’t really done much with our room but here are two shots of what little I have done in here.

And I haven’t even started on our porch but hopefully I will get to that very soon!
I hope you all enjoyed visiting our little home! If you have any questions about where we found things we have a FAQ’s page and a section with info about each room.  And we also have a tutorials section where you can find several of the projects seen in some of our spaces above.
Also, we have been getting tons of questions on when we will be having PHOTO EDITING available again on our site. Tonight at midnight we will be offering a very limited number of them in the single photo edits, photo editing with text and Christmas cards.
I hope you all have a blessed rest of the week and a very Merry Christmas!!!!

  1. Your home is gorgeous on a regular day, and you holiday decor just dazzles! I love how natural and welcoming it all looks. Thanks for sharing, it's beautiful!

  2. This is all so beyond gorgeous. No words can express! Enchanting home! Love the idea of the two tiered platter holding the ornaments. I have that same tray set and think I will be using your idea! 🙂

  3. This is the prettiest house I have seen in blogland~and you did it all on a budget?! Wow, I am super impressed and amazed! I am so glad you kept the branches and white lights over the archway, it is sooo pretty. I also like seeing the other side of the dining room for a change, I didn't realize you had wallpapered that side as well (or is it a stencil?), but the little table is so pretty, as is the staircase.

  4. O'ma Goodness! You're home is breathtaking Jennifer!! I'm visiting today from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia…needless to say I'm now a new follower of your blog! What an inspiration you are!! You're talent is such a beautiful gift that you share with the world. xoxo

  5. Are the curtains in your LR, kitchen and family room all the same? What type of fabric are they?

  6. I absolutely, utterly and completely LOVE your home, and all your Christmas decor! I could move in today and not miss a single stitch of my own things! My daughter (4) is looking at the pics with me and liked to see the pic of your daughter. She also said, 'hey, they copied our pillows' (hehe…we ordered the silent night, holy night pillows from you).

  7. Beautiful! Your whole house looks magical, you have outdone yourself once more. Lillie looks adorable trying out the fake pear.

  8. Oh how stunning! Every square inch! How I'd LOVE to walk through your home, especially in the evening!

I'm so adoring those sticks with lights in that doorway. MUST FIND STICKS! 🙂

  9. I have to the conclusion that you don't really live there…this is a pretend house made only for making look pretty! ha! just kidding! it is stunning!!! my favorite parts are the archway lights and twigs and all of the greenery on the chandelier! I don't know how you do it lady?! Just beautiful!

  10. Thanks so much for stopping by, everybody! We are so excited to be a part of Jennifer's house walk!!!

AzMom – The curtains are all the same, although they are different lengths. I honestly don't know what fabric they are made from, but I got them at JCPenney's.

  11. I do so LOVE you blog- it inspires me daily!!! I hope you can take a peek @ my little Christmas tour too. Merry Christmas!!!!!

  13. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Love it all! You can tell that you work very hard at creating such a beautiful home! Merry Christmas!!

  14. How do you do that! You always make everything gorgeous! I'm still dying over the grape/wisteria vine with the little lights over the arch near the dining room, and i love the way the garland going up the stairs just ties everything all together… i was at the edge of the woods a couple of days ago attacking a wisteria vine, so i could copy yours… it kicked my butt too… but i sure as heck got me some vines, now we'll see if i can tame them enough to do something with them!

  19. Thank you all! Jodi, the mugs were an anniversary gift from my sister a few years ago and are from my favorite restaurant and chocolate shop in Walpole, NH called Burdick's. I am pretty sure they have a website and you may be able to order them online.

  20. What gorgeous pictures! Thanks for inviting us into your home, you really have a flare for home design! I especially love the night pictures, everything lit up so beautifully .. so picturesque!

  21. Absolutely breath taking…I am without words to tell you how lovely your home is…Thank you so much for sharing it with us! One question…WHERE did you get the giant ruler? I collect rulers and would love to find one…
    Your daughters are so cute!!!
    Blessings,

  22. Loved taking a tour of your holiday home. Everything is so lovely. The beauty of having girls is being able to decorate their room and have them enjoy the loveliness as much as you. My 3 girls were so easy on my home. My son on the other hand…well, let's just say I had to sell my white couch. 😉

P.S. I am obsessed with your "Chocolate" mugs. Where did you find those? They are adorable!

Thank you for sharing with us!

  23. Thanks everyone!

Diane – I made the giant ruler based off of a tutorial I saw at 517 creations. You can see our post about it here (http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/2011/09/little-ruler-project-and-our-give.html). That post has a link to the tutorial as well.

Pam – the mugs were an anniversary gift from my sister a few years ago and are from my favorite restaurant and chocolate shop in Walpole, NH called Burdick's. I am pretty sure they have a website and you may be able to order them online.

  24. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us! I have enjoyed looking over your photos again and again.

Where did you get the small table in your dining room?

    Thanks,
    Betsy

  25. Jennifer, thank you for sharing your beautiful home. I think your home is stunning! I love everything about it. From the color palette, to your use of natural elements. I have to say it is spectacularly stunning during the Holidays. You are an inspiration and I can't thank you enough. I wish you could come help me with my home.
    Merry Christmas!

  26. I was so excited when I saw you were a part of the tour! I absolutely love your home, every little detail is just so perfect…your home feels so inviting and comfortable! Thanks for letting us come and peek around, you did a wonderful job! Merry Christmas~ Tara

  27. Thanks!!!

Betsy – I got the small table from an antique store in Camden, South Carolina. I can't remember the name though 🙁

Anonymous – I got the wreaths a really long time ago, and I honestly can't remember where. If I got them here in Williamsburg it probably would have been at a store called Savvy, but I think I might have gotten them before we moved here.

  28. Hi Jennifer,
Your home is just lovely all decorated and ready for Christmas. Your Mantel is just beautiful, love that mirror…and the stockings so cute! The baby sled brings back memories of when our girls were young and we would bundle them all up and venture out in the snow…
Happy Holidays to you & yours!
    All the Best,
    Christine

  29. Jenni. Thank you so much for opening up your home! everything looks beautiful! I love how everything flows from one room to the next.I adore your tree. The girl's room's are gorgeous! Thank you so much for being a part of the tour!

  30. Love your blog and your home. Would love to subscribe to your blog….please consider adding Feed Burner to your site so I can sign up. I am not sure how to do the others you offer and most sites have Feed Burner now via email. Thanks lbprich@bellsouth.net

  31. Really, Jenni, your house is the most beautiful I've seen. No kidding. Part of it is that your photographs are so very, very beautiful–you're truly an artist. But part of it is just that everything is so wonderfully, magically decorated. I'm a traditional girl, especially when it comes to Christmas, and I like lots of color. To tell the truth, I'm not usually attracted to neutral palettes. But your home is the exception. It's absolutely marvelous.

How blessed you are to have your precious family–the extended clan and especially your two beautiful little ones! May your Christmas be full of all that's most dear to you.

  32. love the rich earth tones against all that beautiful creaminess! simply, richly beautiful! (and she's a delight, too!)
    merry christmas!

  33. I.
    Am.
    In.
    Serious.
    Love.

How could I have missed you in blogland? I know it's a vast place…but you are amazing and I'm your newest follower!!!

    Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays,
    Lana
