Entryway with Green Doors

Good evening! I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. We’ve been in our house for just over a month now and have been plugging away trying to get the downstairs feel more our style before the holidays arrive. We’ve shared a little peek at our living room here, our kitchen here, and our dining area here and are excited to share our library this coming week (which has been the biggest project so far!) Tonight though we wanted to share our entryway with green doors. For this space for now we just painted the walls, swapped out the light fixture, added some furniture and then painted the doors. Down the road I’d like to add some interest with some molding but for now at least it looks a little less bare than when we moved in. Like I said, I’d like to do more in here eventually (including changing out the hardware on the front door to go with some of the other doors we’ve swapped so far!)  But here it is for now:

The entryway console was a big disappointment for me. Online it appears a much lighter wood. Once it arrived it was so much darker (and has kind of a pink undertone that is hard to see in these pictures). I  do like the size and overall look of it but it’s definitely not the color I was planning on.

Most of the mirrors I  found for this space were really really pricey so when I found this mirror or just $85 I  decided to go with it and then figured maybe eventually when something that’s got a bit more width to it goes on sale I  can always move this to one of our bedrooms upstairs to use as floor mirror. In the meantime though I’m happy with how it looks in here and you can’t beat that price.

Ignore the crooked candle in these two pictures – haha! I didn’t notice it until I was editing these photos.

Here’s a little peek at how the doors look from the living room. I love the color and the new hardware!
