Good morning and happy Friday! I can’t believe that tomorrow it will be just TEN days until Christmas. We added the last few Christmas touches to the house and I thought I would share them today. We partnered with Walmart to add some holiday touches to both our breakfast nook and our guest bedroom. Walmart has so many items available to affordably transform your home into a both comfortable and stylish space. The table, chairs, stools and light fixture are all from Walmart and then we also added this pencil tree to the space as well. I really wanted to add a little tree to this room but wasn’t sure I was going to be able to find one narrow enough and then I found this one in the store and brought it home with me! To fill it out a bit more I added in some pine and evergreen branches from the yard as well as a few eucalyptus bunches and love the way it turned out! After I took these pictures we started getting some Christmas cards and I added them to the tree and it’s the perfect place to display them. I’ll add some pictures of that further down in the post.

The cake stands, and candle are all from Wal-Mart too and so is the adorable North Pole mailbox! I got mine in the store and couldn’t find the link to it on their website but here is one in red. And I got some great gift bags and tags there as well!

Here you can get a close-up of the North Pole letter holder. Isn’t it so cute? We are putting the Christmas cards that don’t fit on the tree in here!

I got the sparkly gift bag and metal merry and joy tags at Walmart too.

Here are some photos with some Christmas cards on our tree. We had only gotten a couple when I took these photos so I used a few from years past for the photo but they have now all been replaced with ones that we’ve been getting in the mail each day. We punch a little hole in them and add the hook  and then it’s so much fun putting them onto the tree. I think we may add some to the garland too.

Here are a few wider angled shots of the nook:

We also added a few more holiday touches to our guest bedroom. We found this dresser at Walmart and love the look it adds to the room and the added storage it provides. It says online that it is antique white but I would add that is has a very faint green undertone to it. We also added this beautiful flocked tree and the fabulous tree box underneath it! Then we added a vintage sled, horn and books to the space along with some art and a lamp and that helped finish off the empty wall in this room!

I really love this tree and it was such a great price!

Here’s the other side of this room:

Well that’s it for today! Be sure and head on over to Walmart and see what great options they have for your home!
