Good morning! So today I thought I would share a few moods that I created for our new home. I actually created a ton of mood boards while I was deciding on the overall feel I was going for and here is what I ended up narrowing it down to.
In our kitchen we have both a dining area and small seating area. There are some accessories I may change up a bit, but we’ve already ordered and installed the light fixtures and the bar stools just arrived this weekend. We already owned the rug, dining chairs and some of the accessories, and the coffee table and wingback chairs are on their way so this mood board is pretty close to how it should turn out.

We’ve already swapped out pretty much all of the light fixtures in this house except for our master bedroom and the bonus room. I don’t have the girl’s new lights on this mood board (although we have changed theirs out too and I will share Lillie’s later this week!) but here is what we went with in the main living spaces:

Eventually I plan on moving the light we put the dining room into our bedroom – and I would love to go with something fun like this one in the mood board below, but at this point we are still deciding if we are going to actually use the dining room as a dining room or more of as a sitting room so I’m holding off on deciding on a light for that spot until we decide how that room is going to function. And seeing how we aren’t planning on tackling our bedroom just yet I figured for now I’d hang that one in the dining room and then I can just move it into our bedroom once I start working on that space.

I literally made around 20 mood boards with all sorts of different lighting options. I won’t bother sharing them all, especially because they all had so many similar options and it was more of just seeing how I liked them together, but here is one other one:

I am still making some decisions on the living room though. We are using our high backed tufted sofa we already have, but still torn on which other sofa we want to pair with it. We are going to go with a leather one and leaning towards either the one on this mood board:
