In our last home we had Serena and Lily counter stools and we absolutely LOVED them. They were my favorite stools we’ve ever owned. They stayed in our last home because they went perfectly with that island but we knew we wanted to get some Serena and Lily stools again for this new house because of how much we loved our last ones. This time around we needed five or six stools because of how large the kitchen peninsula is. I ordered five to start with but think I may order a sixth. I knew I wanted to go with a black stool to help balance out all of the white and wood in the kitchen and I went back and forth deciding between these Tucker counter stools and these Portside ones, but ultimately ended up going with the Tucker ones. We have only had them for about two weeks now but I have to say we absolutely LOVE them so far.

These stools are so classic and their style is completely timeless. Not only are they beautiful but they are also really comfortable. One of the reasons that Serena and Lily is one of my absolute favorite places to shop for our home is because their items are such high quality and and have such a casual elegance to them. Pretty much all of the items they carry are timeless and will last for years and years to come without going out of style. We have Serena and Lily items that have been with us through four different houses and I love them just as much in each new space.

We also ordered this St. Germaine Stone Coffee Table. I think it is my new favorite piece of furniture we own. I initially ordered it for the conversation area but when it arrived it was just so stunning that I ended up putting it in our living room! It is one of those pieces that is even prettier in person. The color of the stone and the gold detail is just beautiful.

We also added this Beachside Serving Board over near our coffee station. I also can’t wait to use it as a serving tray out on our new patio. 

You can spot lots of our favorite Serena and Lily items in this shot. Along with the St. Germain Stone Coffee Table, and Poetto Vase you can also see the Rosecliff Chandelier. We had this same chandelier in our last house and loved it so much we ordered it again for this house! It is so elegant and I love that it can work both with a traditional or more modern style.

We’ve had this Greenwood Table Lamp for a couple of years now and I love it so much. It has great height to it that helps give it visual weight while the overall look of it still remains airy. I can’t wait to share the rest of the living room photos later this week.
