Well, this weekend we finally added the branch to the nursery so it is now completely done. Now we just need our little munchkin to hurry up and get here. Just three and a half more weeks until she’s due, but I am certainly hoping she comes a little bit earlier. When we did the branch in Lillie’s room a month or so ago we got a lot of questions about how we did it, so I am going to do my best to show you.
Whew! My internet is finally working again. It started acting up Monday and would work for a few minutes and then cut off. I was able to get some things done but didn’t get to finish this blog post because blogger wasn’t loading at all and only got through a few e-mails and convos because it kept cutting out on me.
Seeing how I didn’t have time to do any of the other posts I have in my head right now I thought I would just do a super quick post and show a couple of the tiny updates I did in our master bedroom to get ready for the COTM feature and also do a GIVEAWAY for one of the new pillow covers that we will have available in our shop on Monday.
It has been a busy week to say the least! I was in the middle of working on our new spring designs when last Monday evening I got an e-mail from Jennifer Grey over at The Old Painted Cottage. She wanted to know if I was interested in having our home featured in her “Cottage of the Month” series.
Sorry, I have been completely MIA from my computer these past few days. I am hoping to attempt to get caught up today and tomorrow at some point on e-mails, convos and blog reading, but for now wanted to post some photos of the projects I have finished up for Lillie’s room.
This is what our third bedroom has looked like since shortly after moving into our home. We have used it as a guest bedroom but now it is time to turn it into a nursery – yay! I am so excited to start working on a nursery again but am a little sad to see our guest bedroom go.
