Back in March, my niece, Everly Penniman, celebrated her first birthday. My sister, Jamie, created the most beautiful party for her. She went with a “Penny Candy Store” theme. I have to say the awnings she made were incredible! They were not very easy to make though, and I am pretty sure she almost gave up on them but I am so glad she was able to pull them off because I think they absolutely made the biggest statement and loved how they turned out.

I don’t have all of the photos edited yet (because I took a million of them!) but thought I would share a few pictures of the fabulous birthday party my sister, Jamie, threw for her daughter Everly Penniman’s first birthday! She worked so hard on it and all the details came together perfectly.
I designed this chalkboard last week for Jon’s birthday. For this one I just simply wrote “Happy Birthday to You”. We are going to have several items with this printed on them. Two which are available now (the large download and 8 by 10 prints) and three more (gift tags, greeting cards, and the 11 by 14 print) that will be hopefully be available later this week but if not then early next week..
Today, we have the large 24″ by 36″ download available in our shop.
I’ve got this one last post here with some random shots and then hopefully after this I will have enough of my more recent photos edited to start posting photos of some of our new products, Jamie’s shower and two photo shoots that we’ve done during the past week and a half.
Here are a bunch of pictures of the birthday girl shortly before her birthday party on Saturday. We didn’t open her gifts or have cake until after dinner so it was dark then and I don’t have any good pictures from that. These are all from earlier in the day while we were setting up and the lighting was better (except for the last one of her eating her cupcake).
Our little Lola Wren turned one on April 22nd and this past Saturday we had a little party for her. The theme for this party was just kind of a simple mossy/earthy look and I knew I wanted to incorporate a little mini tree swing. I originally had hoped to have kind of a mid summer’s night garden party under the tree swing at my parent’s house.
