This poor bench has moved quite a bit since we made it. We built it to go with our farmhouse table in our last house. Once we moved here it has been back and forth between a few rooms. Over Christmas it was in the dining room.

But ulitmately it spent most of it’s time under the large chalkboard in our kitchen.

Well, once I finally made the sideboard for our kitchen (which you can see more of here and here), it was time to find a permanent home for bench.

So we moved it up to the guest bedroom. I like how the stripes look in here and it is a nice spot for our guests to set their bags and things. Hopefully now this is where it will stay. At least for a few months, anyway…haha!

  1. Jennifer: What is so nice about your decorating style, is that everything is interchangeable. Your home is very welcoming. Enjoy your weekend, Cindy

  2. Love the bench no matter where you put it! Can I ask where the stools under the kitchen counter are from. Target? Your guest room continues to be a favorite of mine. Love the colors and that so many of your beatiful furnishings have found a home there.

  3. Love this room and I am copying it 🙂 on the shades from Lowes, how did you measure for them? From the inside? Thank you
