I am excited to introduce to you the newest member of our family – Jamie and Josh’s daughter, Everly (“Evie”) Penniman Druke! I will share some more photos of her soon, but thought I would at least show you a couple that I took of her at the hospital during the tiny window of time I got to see her before Lola got sick and we got stuck quarantined. =)  I was finally able to take a few more of her the other day at Jamie and Josh’s house that I will share once I get them edited, but for now here are just a couple of shots from in the hospital shortly after she arrived. I love her to pieces and am so excited to have another beautiful niece!

Here she is gripping Josh’s finger.

I love seeing their matching hospital bands.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow!

  1. Jennifer,
you have a wonderful gift with capturing the moment on film. What a precious little miracle Evie is and your photos are precious as well.

Heres hoping that you and your family get to feeling better soon.

  2. She is precious and beautiful. Congrats to all of you. Hope Jamie is feeling well. Love the name Everly ! Looking forward to seeing more pictures.

  3. Oh congrats and best wishes, what a beautiful sweet baby girl!

You know my eldest daughter's name is Evelyn, and we call her Evie – though she spells it Eve, it is pronounced Evie too.

Her great aunt was Evelyn and her great grandma was Eva – beautiful names, all of them – is Penniman a family name? That's so unique.

    1. What a beautiful name! My husband's first choice for a girls name when we were pregnant with Lola was Evelyn! Yes, Penniman is a family name – was my great grandmother's maiden name and has been several family members middle name since.

  4. She is precious! What a pretty name. Congratulations to your sister and brother-in-law! Congratulations also to you Aunt Jennifer and the rest of your family. I hope little Lola is feeling better.

  5. She's so beautiful, what a sweet little face! Congratulations to your family. I love her name, I've never heard it before 🙂 hope your little one is feeling better! Lori Swearingen

  6. congratulations to jamie and josh on a beautiful baby girl…something about her reminds me of lillie.

looking forward to seeing more pics of her at home!

  7. What a beautiful little girl!! I think she has got those same little sweet lips just like Lillie and Lolas. They always look like there all puckered up and ready to be kissed. And I am sure shes getting lots of those!!!! Well Jenni you will have to fill us in on the whole delivery, from start to finish. And tell us what is the story behind her name? Its very pretty and so unique. Well congradulate(?)the "Drukes" from all of us over here in Blogland. I'm sure Jamie is lacking sleep but up and looking pretty as ever! Make sure to put Uncle Jason to work, feeding her, rocking her and diffently have him changing a diaper or two! Because we all know that he has lots of time on his hands while you Jenni are running the business. lol!! Best wishes, Shawn(female)

    1. She does have little lips just like Lillie and Lola's! Jamie has loved the name Everly for a while (it has a whimsical feel to it – kind of, "happily ever after") and Penniman is a family name. And yes, Jamie is looking fabulous – wearing her regular jeans a week later – Lola's almost two and I still can't fit into mine – haha!

  8. Wow I don't think I've seen a prettier baby right after birth! Congrats to her parents and of course your little girls will now have a cute girl cousin to play with!

  9. A beautiful blessing! Miss Evie is perfect!! I adore her name. Congratulations Jamie, Josh and the entire family.
A new little girl to brighten your world. She couldn't have happened to a nicer family.
    Blessings~Love~ Joy~Always!!
