Just a little chalkboard I did with Valentine’s Day in mind. We are getting excited because it looks like in the VERY near future we will be selling prints and downloads of our chalkboard art. In fact, we may have our first download one available tomorrow or Friday! This first one will be not be my handwriting but we have those in the works and may have them available as soon as late next week! Those ones we will be selling as prints and we are just waiting on the high end paper to arrive and making sure we get the prints just right. Once we do we will be listing them. We have one ready to go as soon as the paper arrives and several more in the works!  And then hopefully later this year we will be selling some actual chalkboards, but that will probably still be a little ways off.
The girls and I did some Valentine’s decorating the last two days and I took a bunch of photos so once I get them onto my computer and start editing them I will have a few Valentine’s related posts over the next week! For now, though, here is a little corner where we didn’t do any decorating but I did write the quote with Valentine’s in mind:

Here’s my Valentine with one of my little Valentine’s =)

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Oh, Jennifer, that is such great news about you offering the chalkboard sayings as prints and downloads! I just love the one you featured today…will that one be for sale? Thanks for sharing so many great products and ideas with us!

  2. Wow! Jennifer, your chalkboard design is Beautiful! And I just love your whole set up! Have you had your tiered basket display long? I'm looking for one and you have exactly what I'm after! 😉 Just love your cute blog! Jennifer

    1. Thank you, Jennifer! I got it this summer at a little shop in Peterborough, NH called Collections at Laurel and Grove and LOVE it!

      Have a blessed Friday!

      Warmly,
      Jenni

  3. Cool! I can't wait to see your handwriting downloads. Your writing should be an official font for sale! It's amazing!

  4. Looking forward to the chalkboard downloads – wonderful! I'd love more pillow art. I have a special spot on my living room couch that I have placed one of your Thanksgiving and Christmas pillow covers. Keep them coming…I'd love more for all seasons.

  5. That is so pretty!! I was wondering how you make the transition of thick and thin lines so well!! I've tried and it doesn't turn out the same…do you have any advice that may help me?? Thank you!! You are amazing!!

    1. Thanks Abbey! I generally write it all in the thin line first and then go back and thicken parts of each letter wherever I think it will work best and often I just kind of mix it up as I go.

  6. What beautiful work you do!! Love it! (Just FYI, though, that's an E Bronte quote, not a C Bronte quote 😉 )

    1. Haha – you are right! I was going to respond and say that I know it's an Emily quote because it's been one of my favorites for years, ever since I read Wuthering Heights. In fact Jon and I used it in our wedding programs. But then looked at the post and sure enough I have a C – ugh! That's what happens when you write your chalkboards at 3am! Good catch! I will have to fix it before we try to sell this print! Thank you!

    2. I hesitated to say anything because I LOVE your chalkboards and didn't want you to think I was being critical! I'm with you on the quote, too. One of the best ever. Wuthering Heights has been one of my very favorite books forever. Keep up the pretty work 🙂

    3. Oh please don't every hesitate to let me know if you see something like that. I would MUCH rather know about it! And it was perfect timing too because I was able to switch it to an "e" before it got sent off to the printers!

  7. Hi Lillie, what are the names of the fonts you used for this sign? It is so pretty and I love the fonts.
    Thank you, Pam
