Good morning! Today I wanted to share a turkey shaped cake I made that would be great for Thanksgiving and would make a great centerpiece as well! I have always loved doing table settings and this one was a fun one to do. The cake doesn’t have to be a centerpiece though. It’s can also be fun to have on display in your kitchen too before you cut into it!

For this table setting I started by using this turkey shaped cake mold and making a pumpkin cake. I set that on a cake stand that I have had for years and years and then put some faux fall branches underneath it for some added texture. Then I used these candle sticks with some dark brown candles to coordinate with these beautiful Harvest plates that I used at each setting. I layered those on top of these beaded melamine plates. And I’ve had these water goblets for years and. years and I love pulling them out for special occasions.
You can swap the cake out for a simple pumpkin too!
