Thanks to lots of traveling, people visiting, the girls being sick, and being sick myself, I felt like I have spent most of this fall playing “catch-up” on this blog. I am excited now for the first time in months to finally be caught up. I think I have photos for at least two weeks of posts already taken (although I still need to write them – haha!) so starting tomorrow I will have quite a few new posts including more Christmas decorating and at least two tutorials.
This year I didn’t really do any real decorating in Lillie’s room. We put a little tree in her window seat area that she decorated completely herself and then we made quite a few little yarn trees (per her request) and put them out with some feather boas (to look like snow) and that was it.
This year I went really really simple on our mantel. I had planned on doing an advent calendar hanging where the stockings were but didn’t get it done in time, I may still make one later this week and we will just have to play catch-up, or I may wait until next year…

Welcome to our home! Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, and now with two little girls it is even more special.
At the beginning of November we mentioned that we were going to do something a little bit different with our donation for the month. Now that the November is over and we have set aside a small portion of each sale we are going to let you all send in suggestions to who we should send the money to.
