Category: Jenni’s North Carolina House

Just like when we shared Lola’s room a few weeks ago, this is very much a “during” post. Her light fixture and wallpaper have arrived so I am about to tackle putting up some board and batten on the lower half of her wall and then hanging the wallpaper on the upper half and then I cannot wait to hang her new light fixture!

Good morning! I don’t have much to share today. Just a little nook and some more angles of our family room. When I hung some of our family pictures in our entryway I just used the portrait/vertical framed photos. I wanted to get all of the ones from our gallery wall at our last house hung up though because they are some of my favorite photos so I found this little spot to hang a few of the landscape/horizontal framed photos.

Good evening! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. We are plugging away on a bunch of projects here and it may be a little bit before we have anything to post about again but I did want to share some affordable art options that we’ve added to the new house from our partner Walmart.

Good morning and happy Saturday! Today I wanted to share some more photos of our dining area. We don’t have a formal dining room in this house but so far we haven’t missed it at all. There is a room that we could have used as a formal dining room but it made more sense for us functionally to use it as an office/sitting room so we decided to go that route and have been happy with that decision so far.

We’ve been using a bit more of a coastal look at this house due the high ceilings and the overall airy feeling of the house. We partnered with Walmart and have found so many great summery items there!  These rattan chairs are eventually going on our new patio but they’ve made their way into our bedroom for now.

First, I want to state that Lola’s room is not finished, these are just some progress shots. And I didn’t take these photos at the best time of day so they aren’t good quality but seeing how they are just “during” photos I didn’t bother to reshoot them.
