Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a nice week. Today I wanted to share some realistic faux dogwood branches that I added around the house. Back when we lived in North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina I loved clipping branches every spring and using them throughout our house (you can see some of those posts here, here, here, here and here).
Good morning. Although we’ve had most of our Christmas decorating done for a while now I did just recently add some more faux and fresh garland to finish some of the spaces off. I added a dried orange slice garland to the shelf in our kitchen, and then I found some garland (I doubled it up to look thicker) I hadn’t used yet this year (but have had for years, similar can be found here) in one of my Christmas bins and hung that on the small bit of railing we have on the stairs and added in some battery operated lights and tied on a velvet bow.

Good evening! Although I have more I plan on doing in here, I wanted to share some of the Christmas touches I’ve been adding to our library. I took these pictures a week or two ago and have actually added a couple of things since then so figured I’d better hurry up and post these photos now.

Good morning! Earlier this week I shared some simple fall touches I added to our kitchen and living room and today I thought I would share the simple touches I added to our entryway and library room. Last week I shared the makeover we gave our front room so that we could use it as a library instead of a dining room so if you want to read more about that process you can click here.
We’ve been in our house for just over a month now and have been plugging away trying to get the downstairs feel more our style before the holidays arrive. Sunday we shared the progress we’ve made in our entryway and over the last couple of weeks we’ve shared little peeks of our living room here, our kitchen here, and our dining area here.
