Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe Thanksgiving is just two days away! November has completely flown by! Today we are joining our blogging friends for the Family Room part of our Holiday Farmhouse Series! We shared some photos of ours last week (don’t forget there’s still time to enter the ScentsCicles $3000 Dream Tree Giveaway!) but today we are back with more images of this room from a few more angles.

Life has been pretty hectic here lately so we’ve been a bit missing on the blog we’ve been working away like crazy as we prepare for the holidays and a couple other things we have coming up that we are looking forward to sharing with you soon. Today though, I just wanted to pop in and say that I hope you all have a lovely weekend and to share one last set of autumn decorating photos of our house with you.
About a month ago we shared some images of our updated family room and mentioned that we had made a large tufted ottoman to go in front of the sofa so that we could put our feet up more comfortably every night. Our original plan was to purchase one but I wanted it to be close to five feet long and about two feet deep which ended up being a much harder to find size than I anticipated.
A while ago we shared some photos of our den with our new sofa that Arhaus sent us and mentioned at the end of it that we were moving it into our family room. Jon fell in love with it and for the first time in all of the years we have been together he suggested moving a piece of furniture – haha!
Last spring we moved the rug that was in our family room up to the guest room. I loved that rug but in an attempt to save money I ordered a size smaller than I should have and it always bugged me. It went perfectly in our gray guest room though and so we moved it up there and I started hunting for a larger rug down here.
A couple of weeks ago we had a 70 degree day and it seemed like warmer spring weather was in the not too distant future so we started adding some spring like touches to our family room. Of course that turned out to be rather ironic seeing how the weather changed and this past week we’ve had snow and absolutely frigid temperature.
