Good morning! I don’t have much to share today. Just a little nook and some more angles of our family room. When I hung some of our family pictures in our entryway I just used the portrait/vertical framed photos. I wanted to get all of the ones from our gallery wall at our last house hung up though because they are some of my favorite photos so I found this little spot to hang a few of the landscape/horizontal framed photos. This hallway leads to our master bedroom and it seemed like the perfect spot to hang four of them. I added a little bench underneath them both because I liked how it looked visually and also because it’s a great spot to store a little extra seating that we can easily grab and pull into the main living space if we need a few more little spots when we have a full house. I’d like to wallpaper this nook eventually but am holding off on that until I decide on a plan for our master bedroom because I want to make sure whatever I chose flows nicely from the main living space into our master.

I’ve shared a few shots of our family room in other posts but here are a few more where you can get a better overall view of the space. It’s nice and functional for now but I do have a few minor things I think we will eventually switch around in here. I’d like to get an ottoman for in here and move this trunk/table up to our bonus room at some point. And I think I’d like to put a console table under the artwork and slide some little benches under it that can be pulled out for extra seating if necessary. The little ottomans that are there right now were just there temporarily. They are going in my office  and then eventually probably going to go in Lola’s room. We’ve been playing a lot of musical furniture here as we get settled.
