Our little Lola Wren will be six months old tomorrow! Where does time go? We took her out last night to take some photos of her but none of those turned out so I thought I would just share one of her from a few weeks ago. Hopefully she will cooperate this weekend and if so I will post some more photos of her next week. I forgot how fun this age was – it is so cool watching as she gets more curious about everything going on around her and wants to be involved. I think Lillie is enjoying it more and more too. In the mornings the girls and I all snuggle in bed for a while (they wake up WAY too early for me…haha) and Lillie loves to do all sorts of silly things to get Lola giggling. I am so excited to watch them grow up together.

On another note, we are excited to introduce another color for our Annistyn Scarf: Eggplant.
They are now available in our shop.

And lastly, I want to let you all know we are having a giveaway tomorrow that I am SUPER excited about. It has something to do with these little shoes:

I hope you all have a blessed Friday!

  1. How beautiful both of your girls are. You are very blessed. Hope you have a great weekend. Loving the weather right now. Donna

  2. Time does, indeed, fly. My 3 children are grown now. I am hoping for a grandchild…perhaps next year.

    Ah, the little shoes. Precious.

I cannot help but love your pictures. Kim Andersen's work with child photography has been one of my favorites since I can remember. Although she used a little color in her black and white art, your work reminds me of hers. I love sepia tones.

Take care and have a wonderful weekend. It has been a little chilly here in Texas…finally, however the drought is still with us. Hugs, Jan

  3. I love that age! The perfect 'baby' age is when they can sit on their own, but can't crawl yet. Easier for Mom, and so cute! Love the eggplant scarf….may need to go buy a new jacket just so it will compliment that scarf… =)

  4. Very cute picture, even if it is from a few weeks ago. I think she will get more cooperative as she gets older. Those shoes are cute too, at first I thought it was a camo(flauge) print then realized it must be leopard!! I was thinking Lillie would like camo!

  5. Where does time go? It's sad and exciting all at the same time – funny how that is. Great new scarf color and I'm just loving those shoes! I think Mary Grace needs a pair 🙂

  6. Happy 6 Months Lola Wren! She's so precious, Jenni. The eggplant scarf is a wonderful Fall color. Hope you have a great weekend!
