I knew that I wanted to add a couple of family photos to the walls in our living room but I wasn’t sure what to do about the frames. The room already had two large pieces of artwork with gold frames and a large gold framed mirror (which I think will finally be moving to Lillie’s room this week because I think I’ve found something for above the mantel) and a huge framed canvas that will be going over the sofa soon so the idea of adding more frames sounded so heavy.
We finally added some finishing touches to our laundry room. Although I usually prefer somewhat oversized light fixtures I had been looking for something small for our laundry room and the hallway right outside of it. I needed it to be small enough that I could still easily open the cabinet doors and I wanted it to be simple so it wouldn’t compete with the floor but I still wanted it to be pretty!
We’ve got quite a few projects to share in the next few weeks but none of them are quite ready yet so I thought today I’d introduce the newest member of our family, Ruby (or Baby Rue as she is called by Lillie and Lola). I wasn’t plan on doing a post about her (although I knew she’d be making her way into lots of photos – ha!) but we got so many messages about her that I figured it might be easiest to do a quick post.
We hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start! We just wanted to pop in to announce the winner of our Interior Define Giveaway! Congratulations to Cathy Gunn!
Have a fabulous weekend!
Warmly, Jenni

Our new Rose sectional from our sponsor, Interior Define has arrived and we absolutely positively LOVE it! We went with the Mod Velvet fabric in the Narwhal color and the White Oak legs with Antique Casters and it is beautiful! The chaise end has quickly become everyone’s favorite spot and we love that it’s so large that more than one of us can snuggle up on that end.
