Good morning! I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far. Today we are excited to be joining our blogging friends for the second installment of the Christmas part of the Seasons of Home Series hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire! This week we are all sharing our dining rooms/tablescapes. Because we just shared a Thanksgiving tablescape I wanted to make our Christmas dining room feel a little different for this post so I played some musical chairs and switched the chairs we had in here with some we had in our kitchen and living room for a more snowy winter feel. I also found a new piece of art at HomeGoods (athough I also played around with our entryway mirror in here as well). Then I just brought in some greenery and made a cake!

I love these terra cotta clay bowls and mugs we got from our sponsor, Caravan. They are such a great size and I love the coloring on them!

I added a faux paperwhite to the bowl (unfortunately the shop I got these from years ago has since closed) and then a cute little Hearth and Hand napkin to finish off the place setting.

I made a basic yellow cake with three layers. I used a chocolate frosting for in between each layer and then a cream cheese around it. On one half I stuck some snowflake shaped marshmallows for a fun feel that I knew my girls would love and then the other side I kept simple. I set it on top of this round marble petal tray and then set that onto a cake stand.

Love these cute little place cards and bell place card holders.

Over here we added some pretty champagne flutes from Caravan and then stacked two marble canisters for added height and I used the top one as a vase knowing I could pull the bottom one out to chill some drinks if I needed to.

I didn’t think to try this gold mirror in here until I had taken all my photos but I did quickly take a couple of shots before it got dark and I really like how it looked!
