Good morning! I hope your week is off to a nice start. I am going to split the nursery mood boards up into two (or possibly even three posts). First, I am going to share the girls ones. They are mostly more traditional feeling because that’s what I find myself most drawn to when decorating a nursery but the pink one has a more modern feel to it!

And once again, as I mentioned in the both this girls room post and this one last week, as well as this boys ones and this one, for me, it’s easiest to start off just trying to find an overall look that I am going for and then once I have that narrowed down and pieced together I will then start looking through it with a more specific budget in mind and try to find options that fit in the budget that I am working with that will still give a similar overall look and feel. For instance, if you fall in love with a dresser or desk that is out of the budget you are working with you can start hunting on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, thrift shops, yard sales, etc to find an inexpensive (or even free!) piece to then paint the same color as the one you found as your inspiration piece. Or if it’s something like a lamp or pillow you can search places like HomeGoods or Amazon for a knock-off. Or an item like a pin board or pillow you can often find the same or similar fabric on Etsy or a fabric shop and make ones yourself that will  have the same look. So keep these are all just to use as just general inspiration and a starting off point.

Also, by just swapping out the crib for a bed and changing out some of the more babyish accessories like the swing and mobiles you can easily adapt any of these from a nursery to a young girls bedroom!

First up we have a soft blueish gray color scheme with an overall very traditional feel it. I added in a few whimsical touches to it that help keep it from feeling too stuffy.

This next one has a navy blue color scheme. It also has a traditional feel to it.  You could add a second crib to this design and this would make a great boy/girl twin nursery! (You could easily swap out the wallpaper for something less feminine too).

For this next one I used a greenish blue color scheme and tried to give this one a more vintage feel to it.

And although a handful of elements in this next one are on the traditional side, I chose more modern furniture and a more modern light fixture to give this room a fun feeling.

Pink Teether  /  Rug  /  Basket with Pom Poms  /  Two-Toned Basket  /  Glider
Animal Print Pillow  /  Mouse  /  Pouf  /  Twinkle Twinkle Art  /  Mirror
Dresser  /  Lamp on Dresser  /  Little Mini Ride-On Toy

I was hoping to have time to tweak this last one a bit more but ran out of time last night. My sister used this wallpaper in her playroom and it is one of my absolute favorites!

That’s it for today! I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!

Warmly, Jenni
