Hunter Cranbrook Fan for Lillie's Room

Good morning! I  hope you all are having a lovely week. We are excited to finally start sharing some of the spaces we are making progress on in our new home. We’ve shared our pool area, my new study, and links to all the downstairs lighting and today I  wanted to share the progress we’ve made in Lillie’s room including her new Hunter Cranbrook Fan and a little peek into the progress we’ve made in Lola’s room. I should point at that Lillie’s room is definitely not done. We were not in our last home very long and she really wanted to replicate that room because she loved it so much so our plan is to add a large mural to the blank wall and then will add some finishing touches once we’ve added the mural.

The initial plan was to pretty much completely replicate her last room. Seeing how we were moving all of the furniture and accessories that pretty much just meant painting the walls, adding the mural and then swapping out the fan for her bubble light fixture. We painted the walls right away and then moved in all her furniture in and after sleeping in her room a few nights she commented on how much she liked having a ceiling fan. Neither of us were a huge fan of the look of the one in her room though so we started to hunt for some cuter options that would go with her room better. We both quickly agreed on this Cranbrook fan from Hunter Fan Company. We loved the low profile look of it and how stylish it looked!

Here is the before (sorry, I don’t have any good before shots – I  had to grab screenshots of a video my husband took for me before we moved in):

And here it is after we had painted the walls:

And now:

Hunter Cranbrook Fan for Lillie's Room

I think this might be one of the most stylish ceiling fans I have ever seen! We love it so much! I  love the Hunter’s description of the Cranbrook fan, ” it is a mid-century modern ceiling fan with a one-of-a-kind look that is both vintage and current. The open hood and tapered blades surround an exposed bulb for a style that is totally original and totally Hunter. The Cranbrook features an energy-efficient LED light bulb and a reversible three-speed WhisperWind™ motor that delivers ultra-powerful air movement with whisper-quiet performance.”

Along with how beautiful it looks in Lillie’s room, we also love that it has it’s own remote so she can turn it off and on from bed without having to get up and go over to the switch by her door. (I’ll share a video of the fan and remote in our Instagram stories today). We also love how many beautiful fans Hunter offers. Although this one was an easy choice for Lillie’s room, there were so many other designs that would work well in other spaces (including a really cool, industrial looking one that we chose for Lola’s room which is featured at the end of this post).

We also really liked that there was a lighter wood (Blonde Oak) and darker wood (Mid-Century Walnut) option for the blades. We went with the Blonde Oak side and love how it looks in her room.

And here is a little peek at Lola’s new room with her new fan:

I don’t have a true before shot of Lola’s room but here it was after we painted the walls and before the moving truck arrived with our stuff:

She had the same request as Lillie. After a few nights of sleeping with her fan she also said she really liked sleeping with a fan on, but again we weren’t a huge fan on the one that was in there. She wanted an industrial looking one and really loved the look of Hunter’s Fennec Fan. This fan has such a sleek look to it and works so well with the overall feel of her room. This fan has the same three-speed WhisperWind motor as the Cranbrook Fan and we can definitely vouch for how quiet they are! We are so pleased with both fans!

I will share a video of her fan in our Instagram stories today as well! (And I will have the full post of her room up tomorrow with all of the other source information).

I  highly recommend heading on over to Hunter Fan Company’s website and checking out all of their beautiful options! And they have other items besides fans as well – I absolutely LOVE this pendant light and these wall sconces.
