I hope you all are having a wonderful Saturday! I feel like June has just flown by! We haven’t been working on many projects at our house this past month or two as we have been busy working on client projects but I did want to share some pictures I took of our dining room with some beautiful pink peonies! I am trying to convince myself to pull the trigger on some wallpaper for in here so hopefully the next time I share this room it will have changed a bit. I am just having such a hard time deciding (this happened in our last house too – ha!) I don’t usually have trouble deciding on wallpaper in other rooms but for some reason the dining room trips me up – I want it to be eye-catching but still versatile enough to change things up a bit seasonally and with different accent colors. Because of that I never ended up pulling the trigger on a wallpaper in our last house and just ended up painting the walls three different times. I am hoping to actually make a decision though soon and get it ordered! In the meantime though here are some pictures of how it looks right now:

I love this new wood serving board from Heritage Lace! I mixed it with some of my other favorite pieces like this marble and wood cake stand and these glasses. The plates were one of my favorite finds years and years ago – I think I got them back for Lillie’s first birthday party!

Dining Room:

Wall Color – Gravel Gray by Benjamin Moore in Eggshell
Trim – Existing but planning on painting it Simply White eventually
Door Color – Mopboard Black by Benjamin Moore in Semi-gloss Finish

Rug – RugsUSA – Bosphorus Floral Ornament in the Ivory Color and 8 by 10 size

Farmhouse Table – I made it using this plan from Ana White’s site. Stained with Rustoleum’s Weathered Gray and Minwax’s Provincial
Slipcovered End Chairs – Lee Industries (about 7 or 8 years ago)
Little Plates – Pier 1 years ago
Sideboard – Found at a Consingment Shop and Painted in Paris Gray (I think…it’s been a few years)
White Beaded Dishes – Milford Square Dishes from Birch Lane
Throw – HomeGoods
I Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

  1. Could you please do a post on wallpaper options? I think choosing a pattern is so overwhelming. I would love to see your ideas for a dining room space. Thanks!
