I  started working on our primary bathroom makeover in January and it is finally finished! As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I was trying to do this makeover on a tight budget, and relied heavily on paint and cosmetic changes like the peel and stick black and white tiles to make the room look more visually appealing without doing anything major to the space because if we live here long enough I would love to completely rip out the shower and install a beautiful new tile shower (maybe something like this or like this) and then remove the existing tub and put in a freestanding one like this or like this.

Good morning! Today I wanted to share our entryway with board and batten and wallpaper. I know I haven’t posted on here in what feels like forever. Life has been particularly hectic lately and although I have been plugging away on several projects I haven’t had time to get things finished up and photographed until this past week.

Good morning! Today I wanted to share some of the progress we’ve made in our guest bedroom, mainly the vintage style peel and stick wallpaper and board and batten. It isn’t quite finished – I  am waiting on some artwork to arrive for above the desk, some knobs to arrive for the desk, and the bedding I chose for the beds actually arrived  just a few hours after I took these photos (I stole some pillows from other spots in the house so I could take these photos), and then I am deciding between putting a lamp on the nightstand adding a sconce above each bed,  so I can’t wait to share more pictures of this space in the next week or two once it’s officially done.

This week I tackled a really quick and easy makeover that I have wanted to do since the day we moved in. I spent about $50 or so on wood (and had some leftover) and then used 3 rolls of wallpaper that I got from Target so all in all it was a pretty inexpensive makeover and now it is so much more functional.
