Good morning! We are joining a bunch of our blogging friends today to bring you the third installment of the Seasons of Home Holiday Series and this time sharing our Christmas trees and living rooms. I have to admit I almost bailed on this round because as I was packing up our house I started running out of time.

Good morning and Happy Saturday! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. Today I wanted to share some photos of our living room with a lightened up look that goes with the blue we now have in our dining room and that feels a little more airy for summer.
For the most part I love the organized, less cluttered feeling in our house that comes in January when all of the Christmas decorations go back into the attic but in this room I actually really missed the tree! I loved walking by the living room every day and the cozy feeling it adding to the room.
Good morning! We are excited today to be participating in the third installment of the Seasons of Home Holiday Christmas Series hosted by Kristen from Ella Claire. Today we are sharing our living rooms and Christmas tree! We went for a warm a cozy look in our living room that has a few rustic elements like the garland on the tree, and lots of cozy pillows and throws.
Well, although I don’t think any room is every really “done” in our house I did add some finishing touches to our living room recently that help make it feel “finished for now”. Haha! Mary-Catherine from Copper Corners contacted us about creating a custom piece for our space. I sent her photos of our room and the dimensions about the sofa and she created this gorgeous painting for us!
I knew that I wanted to add a couple of family photos to the walls in our living room but I wasn’t sure what to do about the frames. The room already had two large pieces of artwork with gold frames and a large gold framed mirror (which I think will finally be moving to Lillie’s room this week because I think I’ve found something for above the mantel) and a huge framed canvas that will be going over the sofa soon so the idea of adding more frames sounded so heavy.
