Good morning! Yesterday I shared the Christmas touches I added to my home office and today I am excited to share the Christmas touches that I added to our vintage style guest bedroom with twin beds. We have some family coming in just a couple of weeks so I wanted to make sure to get this room all ready for them!
Here is what it looked like just a couple of weeks ago:
And here it is now all ready for our guests:
Here’s another angle:
And that angle now:
We added some beautiful bedding from our partner, The Company Store to help finish off the room. We have bedding from them in our primary bedroom that we have had for several years now and I can’t say enough good things about the amazing quality of it and how beautiful and luxurious it is! For the guest room we used this quilt and matching sham and then layered on this down alternative blanket at the end of each bed for added warmth and a super cozy herringbone throw on top of that to snuggle up with. For pillows we added a square velvet pillow and then a sherpa lumber one in front of that which is about as cozy as it gets!
And then when you pull back the covers we have these plaid flannel sheets that are super cozy and perfect for the upcoming chilly months ahead. We pull out our flannel sheets we got from them several years ago every fall and winter and love them so much.
The other finishing touch we added to this space was the artwork over the desk. We got this from Minted (which is always our go to spot for artwork!) and I am so happy with how it turned out! I initially was going to go with this beautiful piece (which I still love and would love to find a spot for down the road) but as the room started to come together I realized it needed a modern element to balance the vintage style pieces and it needed some black on this side of the room to balance out the black beds and the doors so I decided to go with this piece instead and am so glad I did! And guess what? Minted is offering all NEW customers 10% off their artwork order with the code DEARLILLIEART22.
Because some young kids will be staying in this room later this month I decided to add some of our sweet little animal ornaments to this tree. I may end up moving the tree though to give them more space. We will see..
Well, that’s it for the Christmas decor in our guest bedroom with twin beds! If you missed some of the other spaces we have shared so far in this home you can find them here: Entryway, Pool Area, Study/Office, Dining Room, Living Room, Lola’s Room, Lillie’s Room, Mudroom, and Laundry Room.
