Good morning! Today I wanted to share some of the progress we’ve made in our guest bedroom, mainly the vintage style peel and stick wallpaper and board and batten. It isn’t quite finished – I am waiting on some artwork to arrive for above the desk, some knobs to arrive for the desk, and the bedding I chose for the beds actually arrived just a few hours after I took these photos (I stole some pillows from other spots in the house so I could take these photos), and then I am deciding between putting a lamp on the nightstand adding a sconce above each bed, so I can’t wait to share more pictures of this space in the next week or two once it’s officially done.
I’ve been working like crazy on it though for the past week or so and wanted to go ahead and share the progress so far. It’s so amazing to me what a difference board and batten and wallpaper can make in a room. I feel like it added so much character to what was just a rather boring box of a room. I shared some mood boards for this space a couple of weeks ago and then finally decided on this wallpaper from Wallpops. We partnered with them on this project and I am so thrilled with how it turned out and on top of that I have to say it was the easiest wallpaper I have ever installed! And I have put up quite a bit of wallpaper. It was surprisingly easy to reposition, which isn’t always the case with peel and stick and the pattern was very forgiving. I would use this paper again in a heartbeat!
So here’s a quick before shot:

I’ve got my eye out for a chair for the desk but until I find the right one am just using one of these extra ones we have.
And that’s it for today with our vintage style peel and stick wallpaper and board and batten! I can’t wait add the last few finishing touches and share the full before and after then! I hope you all have a great week ahead!
