Good morning and welcome to the 2020 Holiday Housewalk! Can you believe this our tenth year participating in Jennifer Rizzo’s annual housewalk? This is one of my favorite posts every year and I love seeing all of the different homes all decked out all week long. Today is Day 1 and we are stop number four. Be sure to head on over to Jennifer’s blog to start at the beginning!

And if you are arriving from Kelly Elko’s blog thank you so much for coming! Her home is always such a delight to see each year!

Welcome to our home! We have always had traditional looking exteriors in the past which I am most drawn to but this last move was a bit unexpected and we ended up buying a house with a different style exterior than we have had in the past. At first it threw me off a bit because it is very asymmetrical but now that we’ve cozied up the front porch it feels like home. Every year for as long as I can remember we’ve gotten our fresh greenery for our porch  from Lynch Creek Farms. They have the most lush garland and wreaths and I just love them so much. Although I decorate the inside of our house early I usually hold off on adding our fresh greenery until right after Thanksgiving so that it lasts through Christmas. I actually put all of this up on Thanksgiving Day this year. This year I went with these wreaths and then I got the same Cedar Garland that I’ve gotten the last several years because it is my favorite!

The red only lasted out on our porch a couple of days before my children vetoed it and we swapped the red for blue – haha! So I will have some other pictures up soon with the blue as well as a detailed blog post with all of the sources. In the meantime you can find most of the source information here in this post from last Christmas.

Once you enter our front doors this is our entryway:

I made this wreath a few weeks ago with materials I had on hand. You can read more about that as well as get a source list for this space here.

Here’s the view looking out from our office which is to the right of the entryway:

And here is a little peek at my office itself:

I will have a full blog post up soon with all of the details of this room but for paint color and all of the non Christmas related items you can click here for this post from earlier this fall.

Now back out into our entryway and we will start walking into the rest of the house.

Next up there is a little door over to the right of our entryway and that is our powder room. We added a few little festive touches in here like this narrow tree. I‘ll have a post up soon with more pictures but for before and afters of this makeover and all the main source info you can click here.

Right across the hall from the powder room is our entryway closet. I added a wreath that I have had for years and this fun little felt garland . For all the other source information and all the details on how we made this closet over you can click here.  And for more photos of it with Christmas decor you can click here.

Then once you walk through the doorway at the end of the entryway hallway you enter our main living space. Here is  our living room:

For a post with more images of our Christmas living room and all of the source information including the nativity and tree you can click here.

We also played around with orange slices this year. You can read more about how we dried them here in this post.

Over to the left of our living area is our dining area:

We’ve done a few different table settings this holiday season already. Some have had orange slices and then some were just simple greenery:

You can find lots more photos and all the source information for our Christmas dining room here in this post.

That same main living space is also home to our kitchen. I will have a blog post soon with more photos of our kitchen and the details on the cake we made but for all other source information you can click here for this post from last Christmas. The wreaths I bought at a little local store back when I was pregnant with Lillie twelve years ago! I love that I still can find spots for them every year.

Here’s the view from our kitchen island over to the living room area:

And here’s a picture of a fun little gingerbread house which you can read more about here in this post.

Then back behind our sofa to the left of the chest is a door that leads to our laundry room/mudroom. It’s a really narrow room that is hard to photograph but this is from the back of the room:

And then this is the view if you are standing in the doorway coming from the living room:

You can see lots more photos of our Christmas mudroom and all the details and sources here in this post. You can also see a before shot of what it looked like last year at this time!

Next up is our bedroom and bathroom:

For more pictures of our Christmas bedroom and for all source information including paint color you can click here.

And here is the dollhouse over on my desk area. You can find all the dollhouse details here.

And then here is our bathroom. We did a really budget friendly cosmetic makeover in here a couple of months ago. I like that is flows so much better with our bedroom now!

For all of the details and source information for our bathroom you can click here.

Now it’s time to move upstairs to our bonus room:

I will have a blog post up soon with more of the Christmas photos but for all other source information you can click on this post.

And then next we have Lola’s room. I’ll have a post up soon with all the details on her Christmas room but in the meantime you can click on this post from last Christmas for most of the source information.

And then finally we have Lillie’s room. Here is a little peek at it. I am still editing her photos and will have a post up soon with all of the details but here is her room last year which has most of the same elements and all of the main items are sourced.

Well, that’s our home all decked out for the holidays!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Now be sure to check out Town and Country’s tour! Jennifer’s home is so lovely so head on over!
